Between 60 and 70 students at the Vegiriya Sarananda Dhamma School (Sunday school) at Guhagoda Road in Katugastota were injured and hospitalized after being attacked by a swarm of wasps this morning.
The wasp attack had occurred during the interval of the Dhamma School at around 10.30am today while the students were rushed to the Katugastota Hospital, police said.
