A team of Police Special Task Force (STF) officers confiscated an estimated 14,600 kilograms of refused tea stored without proper authorization in Delaththa, Daulagala.
A suspect, a resident of Gampola, was also arrested in connection with the haul of refuse tea.
Both the suspect and the stock of refuse tea have been handed over to Daulagala Police for further investigations.
