Eight persons were injured and hospitalized after a private bus veered off the road and toppled in front of the Nagamaduwa Wewa in Wanathawilluwa last night.
Police said the accident had occurred at around 8.20pm yesterday and that the injured, including the driver and conductor of the bus, were admitted to the Wanathawilluwa Hospital.
However, they were later transferred to Puttalam Hospital for further treatment.
