A person has been arrested for transporting 38 kilograms of beef unsuitable for human consumption in the Ambagahalanda area in Teldeniya.
The arrest was made by Ambakote Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel, acting on information received.
The arrested suspects and meat have been handed over to Teldeniya Police for onward action.
