A person was arrested in the Wattala area in possession of 6.5 grams of heroin, police stated. The suspect was apprehended during a raid conducted by the Western Province North Division police team.
The suspect was caught in possession of 6 grams and 560 mg of heroin.
Police stated that the suspect will be presented to the Wattala Magistrate court today (March 14).
