A person was killed in a wild elephant attach in the Gannoruwa area in Hambantota, police sated. The authorities however have not been able to identify the body.
Police reported that the attack occurred in the Ladiyakanda area of Gannoruwa.
The unidentified body was taken to the Hambantota hospital while the Hambantota police are conducting the relevant investigations.
