A Russian national committed suicide by hanging himself at a rest house in the Andiambalama area on the Katunayake Airport road, police stated.
The victim was 35 years of age while his body was taken to the Negombo hospital where a post mortem will be conducted today (April 3).
The police had searched the victim’s room at the rest house following a tip-off while the victim’s body was found hanging in the bathroom.
