Two persons arrested in connection with forging currency

Two persons were arrested in connection with a currency forging racket in the Hungama area, police stated. The police seized several forged Rs.50 notes along with equipment used to print the forged currency along with the suspects.
One of the suspects was arrested in the Pallerota area in possession of five forged Rs.50 notes by the Hungama police based on a tip-off.
Upon questioning, the suspect revealed the location of a second suspect who was apprehended along with the equipment used to print the forged notes, police stated.
The suspects will be presented to the Anganakolpalessa Magistrate court.
