Madampe Police has arrested a suspect with 8 gunny bags filled with weapon parts.
Acting on a tip-off received, police caught the suspect when he had brought the weapon parts to a scrap metal collecting location to be melted.
The suspect, a 35-year-old resident of Sudu Wella, is to be produced at court while Madampe Police is conducting further investigations.
