Restoration of water supply further delayed

The restoration of water supply to several areas including Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia and will be further delayed until 6.00pm today (April 11) as repairs are still ongoing, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
Authorities had previously said that the water supply will return to normal by 12 noon today, however it has been reported that repairs are still incomplete.
A water cut was imposed in Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia, Ratmalana, Moratuwa, Wellawatta, Mulleriyawa, Pamankada, Kirulapana and Kotikawatta last night due to a damage in the Dehiwala main supply line.
