The Colombo National Hospital today said that the number people hospitalized due to accidents while celebrating the dawn of the New Year has visibly increased.
A total of 233 patients were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital within the past 24 hours, a spokesperson for the hospital said.
She said that this number is expected to increase within the day and requested the public to be more careful in their celebrations.
