South Korea ensures safety of all Sri Lankans

There is no cause for fear as the government of South Korea has ensured the safety of all Sri Lankans in South Korea, the country’s Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Jeongmoon Choi stated.
He added that in case of any emergency there were several measures the Korean authorities had set in place to ensure the safety of Lankans in South Korea.
North Korea which has been threatening strikes on South Korea repeatedly, recently requested all foreigners in South Korea to vacate the country meant as a warning against future attacks.
Around 25,000 Sri Lankans are currently employed in South Korea.
