Man hangs himself after disagreement with his wife

A man committed suicide by hanging himself on a electricity transformer in the Maningala area after having a disagreement with his wife, the Marawila police reported.
An Ada Derana correspondent reported that 46 year old Warnakulasuriya Ranjith Fernando who is a resident of the Maningala area in Dunkannawa had left his home after a disagreement with his wife last night (April 16) after which he had hanged himself.
His body was found by residents of the area.
It has been reported that the man was suffering from a mental ailment as well while a post mortem is due to be conducted on the body.
