An unidentified woman’s body was found on the beach near the Paluwagaha junction in Habaraduwa, police stated. The body was that of an elderly woman while police have not been able to determine her identity.
The victim was around 60 years of age, police reported while the body was taken to the Karapitiya hospital.
The Habaraduwa police will conduct further investigations into the death.
