Two persons died after a motorbike collided with a double cab in the Nangalla area on the Colombo-Kurunegala main road, police said.
It was reported that both persons traveling on the motorbike were injured in the accident and succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Warakapola Hospital.
The victims are said to be residents of Thulhiriya. Warakapola Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
