Batticaloa Police today arrested a rehabilitated former LTTE cadre who had escaped from the custody of prison officers recently.
The suspect, who has been charged with several counts of burglary, had escaped custody while being transported from prison to be produced at court.
The former Tamil Tiger, a resident of Kokkadicholai, is schedule to be appear at court while Batticaloa Police is conducting further investigations.
