Two persons were killed after being run over by a lorry when the three-wheeler they were traveling in hit a mound of earth and toppled at the ‘Minimaru Wanguwa’ (Killer Bend) in Elwehera, Dambulla this morning.
The two victims are reportedly close relatives, a 50-year-old and 35-year-old, and were traveling towards Dambulla from Elwehera when the accident occurred at around 3.00am today.
