Three bodies found inside home in Karandeniya

Police today discovered the bodies of three persons, belonging to the same family, suspected to have been murdered inside a residence in Kotawala Lower Road in Karandeniya.
The discovery was made following a search of the home, after residents in the area informed police regarding a suspicion over the foul smell emanating from the house.
The bodies have been identified as a 39-year-old woman, her 9-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter.
Karandeniya Police is conducting further investigations.
