Twelve persons were injured and hospitalized after a bus veered off the road and fell into a precipice in Getamanna, Ratnapura this morning.
Police said the wounded passengers, including 9 women, have been admitted to the Ratnapura Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Elapatha-Ratnapura bus has been arrested over the incident.
