
President Mahinda Rajapaksa left on a four day visit to China last night (May 26) on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the President’s Media Unit stated.
The President is to hold discussions with the Chinese President, Prime Minister and several other top officials.
He is also scheduled to attend the Global Services Forum on May 29 in Beijing.
The President’s Media Unit also stated that the President will look to strengthen economic, trade and revenue ties between the two countries.
