Excise Department officers today seized a haul of illicit liquor worth around Rs 1 million and arrested one suspect, following a raid carried out on an illegal liquor brewery operating in Ambapitiya, Kandana.
The department said that 7,380 litres of goda and 88,000 milliliters of spirit were found in addition to various equipment used in manufacturing liquor.
The arrested suspect is schedule to be produced at court.
