Ten passengers were injured, one critically, hospitalized after the bus they were traveling in toppled near the Akkare Junction on the Buttala-Passara main road.
Police said the accident occurred at around 8.00 p.m. yesterday and that the wounded have been admitted to the Higurukaduwa Rural Hospital.
A spokesman for the hospital said one of the wounded passengers is in critical condition.
