48 hour water cut in parts of Kandy

A 48 hour water cut will be imposed on areas belonging to the Kundasale Water Supply Scheme in Kandy on Tuesday (11), due to constructions being carried out at the Narampanawa Pump House, the Water Board said.
The water supply will be suspended from 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday to 8.00 a.m. on Thursday in the following areas:
Liyangahawathura, Delgaslanda, Upper Gonagama, Kuruabemuduna, Narampanawa Road, Orutota Road, Wepathana, Gomagoda, Heepitiya, Udagama, Galedhanda, Lunuketiyamaditta, Dawulathenna, Walala and Wawinna.
Meanwhile an 18 hour water cut will be imposed from 12 noon on Tuesday to 6.00 a.m. on Wednesday on the main road from near the Ambalangoda Police Station to Ahungalla Junction and all byroads.
