Padmasiri Jayamanne assumed duties as the Secretary to the Ministry of Private Transport Services today, the ministry said.
He was a former Senior Assistant Secretary of the Justice and Law Reforms Ministry and Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defence.
Mr Jayamanne replaces former Secretary Victor Samaraweera.
