Two children killed after being run over by bus

Two children were killed and a woman critically injured after they were run over by an out-of-control private bus in the Daluggala area on the Kegalle-Rabukkana main road.
The bus had veered off the road and hit the two children and woman who were walking in the roadside, killing both children instantly, police spokesman SP Buddhika Siriwardena said.
The woman, said to be their mother, was admitted to the Rabukkana Hospital with critical injuries and has been transferred to the Kegalle Hospital for further treatment.
The driver and conductor of the bus have been arrested by Rabukkana Police, he said.
