
President Mahinda Rajapaksa has left for Tanzania and Seychelles on a five day visit. During the visit President will hold discussions on bilateral relationships with the leaders of these two countries.
This is the first time a Sri Lankan Head of State will visit Tanzania. Foreign media points out that this visit of the President will pave the way for strengthening economic, trade and tourism relationships with these two countries.
The President during this visit is also scheduled to participate in several conferences to be held in both Tanzania and Seychelles.
