Two persons found guilty over the murder of a fisherman in the Borupana area in Ratmalana were sentenced to death by Colombo High Court today.
Three individuals were charged over the murder, however one of them was sentenced to three months of rigorous imprisonment.
He was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 50,000 and a compensation of Rs 100,000 to the victim’s family by Colombo High Court Judge Kumuduni Wickramasinghe.
