Two persons, including a child, were killed in a fire which broke out last night at a residence manufacturing fireworks in Galmankada, Negombo, police said.
The fire broke out at around 9.30pm and a father and son trapped inside the house died. The victims are a 30-year-old man and his 8 year-old son.
The postmortem examinations on the bodies are to be conducted today.
