Sri Lankan naval personnel arrested 21 Indian fishermen along with their five boats for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line and venturing into Sri Lankan waters.
The fishermen were detained last night when they were fishing in the sea area around 4 nautical miles off Talaimannar, police said.
The fishermen were handed over to Talaimannar Police and are scheduled to be produced at the Mannar Magistrate’s Court.
