Special discussion between Elections Commission and parties

A special discussion will be held between the Elections Commissioner and the General Secretaries of the political parties today (July 12).
This is the first discussion between the Elections Commissioner and the parties after the Northern, Central and North Western Provincial Councils were dissolved.
The discussion will revolve around the Provincial Council elections.
Nominations for Northern, North Western and Central Provincial Councils elections will be accepted from July 25 to August 01, the Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya said.
