The body of an unidentified person was found near the Bangadeniya railway crossing on the Chilaw-Puttalam road early this morning (July 15), police reported.
The police stated that they suspect the victim had been killed in a vehicular accident this morning.
The Chilaw police have not yet been able to determine the identity of the victim while further investigations are currently being conducted.
