Six primary school children hospitalised with food poisoning

Six school children at the Lenabatuwila Primary school in Kamburupitiya have been hospitalized with food poisoning after consuming food provided by the school.
The incident occurred today (July 17) at around 10am after the children had consumed breakfast provided by the school which was reported to have been prepared in the same house.
The six hospitalized children were students of Grade 4 and are not in critical condition, hospital sources stated.
The children had experienced stomach aches and profuse perspiring when they were rushed to the Kamburupitiya hospital.
