Fallen trees damage vehicles in Colombo

Several vehicles have been damaged due to fallen trees and branches near the Colombo National Hospital, De Seram Place, J.D. Fernando Mawatha Dematagoda, CR&FC Grounds, Reid Avenue and more areas in Colombo, the Fire Brigade said.
The Fire Service Department stated that strong winds experienced in the early hours today had caused several trees and their branches to fall on vehicles parked under them and that steps are being taken to remove them.
