Five persons including a Spanish couple were admitted to the Maskeliya Hospital after they were attacked by wasps in Norwood this morning.
The couple, on pilgrimage to Sri Pada, was traveling in a car with their guide when a swarm of wasps had attacked them and two other persons traveling in a van on the road.
All five persons have been discharged from the Maskeliya Hospital after being treated.
