Dayasiri crossover prompts nude dare; Police intervene

Police took a statement from a man who was allegedly preparing to streak in the Deraniyagala town after losing out on a bet regarding Dayasiri Jayasekera’s crossover from the UNP to the SLFP.
The man had reportedly taken a bet with a friend on whether Jayasekera would crossover to the government and upon losing the bet had promised to walk naked on the streets of the Deraniyagala town.
The police were informed of the incident and had taken a statement from the man who confirmed that the bet was accurate but also added that he had no intention of fulfilling his end of the bargain upon losing it.
