A mother and her son died after a motorcycle collided with a tipper truck in the Gomahandiya area in Laggala this morning.
The Police Spokesman’s Office said the mother-son duo were traveling on the motorcycle which had come into contact with the speeding tipper at around 5.45am today (26). They had both died on the spot.
The driver of the tipper truck has been arrested by police over the incident.
