The former Chief Ministers and Ministers of the North Western and Central Provinces have been ordered through a circular issued by the Elections General Secretary to hand over their official vehicles by July 31.
The Deputy Elections Commissioner M.M. Mohammed stated that the circular was issued yesterday (July 28).
The Ministers will also be required to hand over their state vehicles to the Provincial Secretary while their official residencies will also be handed over by July 31.
The circular was issued following several complaints that state property such as official vehicles were being used to promote parties and certain candidates.
