Enjoining order on UNP extended

The Provincial High Court of Civil Appeal of Mount Lavinia today extended to October 01 the enjoining order suspending the disciplinary action taken by the UNP against several MPs who had crossed over to the government.
The court instructed both parties to submit written statements on the aforementioned date, Ada Derana reporter said.
The petition was filed by MPs Lakshman Seneviratne, Nilwala Wijesinghe, Manusha Nanayakkara, Palani Digambaram, Praba Ganeshan, Mohan Lal Grero, Earl Gunasekara and Upeksha Swarnamali.
