At least 10 persons, including 5 women, were injured following a road accident involving a private bus and a tipper truck in Pugoda on the Hanwella-Kirindiwela road.
Two of the wounded are said to be in critical condition and have been transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
The driver of the tipper truck has been arrested over the accident while Pugoda Police are conducting further investigations.
