The enjoining order preventing Fonterra (Pvt) Ltd from advertising, selling all its products and distributing or selling through agents has been removed.
The order was issued by the Additional District Court judge of Gampaha, Indika Kalinga Upawansa when the case, filed by the Government Nursing Officers Association, was taken up today.
The Gampaha District Court issued the enjoining order on August 16, effective for 14 days, preventing Fonterra selling all its products, distributing or selling through agents as well as any form of advertising in a misleading manner.
The Court issued summons on all the directors of Fonterra for charges of contempt of court on August 21.
