Met Dept forecasts showers or thunder showers

Showers or thundershowers will develop at several places over the most provinces of the island during the afternoon or evening, Meteorological Department said.
Showers will occur in the Western, Southern and Eastern coastal areas during the morning too.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
