
The remand of 35 Indian fishermen, arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on August 25, was today extended by a Lankan court to September 23.
Puttalam Magistrate court extended the remand when the fishermen were produced, ‘Pamban Innocent Fishermen Organisation’ President U. Arulanandam said.
The fishermen were arrested when they were fishing near Katchatheevu. (PTI)
