Wadduwa Police OIC under scrutiny

A special inquiry has been launched on the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Wadduwa Police Station following accusations leveled against him for acting in a biased manner when handling a complaint, police said.
Acting Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana stated that the inquiry is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP) in charge of the Panadura area, under the instruction of Senior DIG Anura Senanayake.
However, he said, that the Wadduwa OIC will engage in his duties as per usual until the inquiry is completed.
