A teenage couple has committed suicide by jumping off a bridge near Golden Island (Ran Dupatha) in Matara this morning.
Rescuing them was not possible due to the rough sea, Ada Derana reporter said.
The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Mohamed Asthan from Matara and Karishma Devatha from Galle.
