Final report on Rathupaswala gets delayed further

The submission of the final report on the crisis at Rathupaswala in Weliweriya has been further delayed, the Gampaha District Secretary stated.

 

He cited that the reason for the delay was the fact that they had not yet received a report from the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.

 

However, the Geological Survey Bureau stated that they had indeed submitted all the required reports on the soil samples from the area.

 

Meanwhile, Theripaha Siridhamma Thero stated that six out of the ten complaints filed against him at the Weliweriya police concerning the incident have been withdrawn.
