One person was killed after a lorry fell around 200 feet down a precipice in the Moragolla area on the Kadugannawa-Balana main road.
Police said the accident was caused due to a malfunction in the vehicle’s brakes.
The driver of the lorry, a 73-year-old man from Kadugannawa, has been identified as the deceased.
Kadugannawa Police are conducting further investigations.
