A man was bludgeoned to death with a club after acid was thrown on him in the Udabage area in Aranayake.
Police said the deceased is a 34-year-old resident of Kegalle and that the attack occurred last night.
A suspect has been arrested over the murder and is scheduled to be produced before the Mawanella Magistrate’s Court.
Aranayake Police are conducting further investigations.
