A woman has been arrested in the Bambalapitiya area for the possession of 500 grams of heroin and 500 grams of Hashish.
Bambalapitiya Police said the suspect was arrested while she was traveling in a three-wheeler.
She is said to be a temporary resident of Bambalapitiya.
The driver of the three-wheeler has also been arrested while Bambalapitiya Police is conducting further investigations.
