A forest fire which has erupted in the Nadukara Kanda reserve in Badulla has destroyed around 30 acres of land as it continues to spread.
The fire reportedly broke out at around 12.30pm today (01).
The fire brigade of the Badulla Municipal Council and wildlife officers are currently attempting to douse the flames.
