Two suspects have been arrested by Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel following a raid on a cannabis plantation in Balaharuwa, Thanamalwila.
The suspects had grown around 3,000 plants of marijuana, each at least 5 feet tall, spreading across half an acre of land, STF said.
The two men have been handed over to the Thanamalwila Police Station for further investigations.
